  • Small walk with a visit of three traditional coffeehouses: see the plan on Google map (45 minutes to 3 hours)
  • Ten coffeehouses and inner city walk: Google map (1,5-6 hours)

 1st stop: Fürst

The Mozartkugel was invented in this house in 1890. It is one of the city’s most famous specialties and designates balls of marzipan with praliné coated with dark chocolate. The delicacies are the "Leitmotiv" of this patisserie which is an institution of the real Austrian coffee house culture. A wonderful spread of Austrian cakes, cookies, and traditional petite desserts is displayed directly at the entrance. Take your pick and kick back!

To do: If it is not too hot, take some "Mozartkugeln" with you as a souvenir!
